“My understanding is that a group of parents and experienced Catholic educators, are proposing to establish a hybrid classical academy home-school program involving (initially) two days per week of in-person schooling and three days per week homeschooling. I am highly supportive of the development of alternative models such as the approach being proposed, as I am keenly aware the need for Catholic education options in areas of our diocese that lack sufficient population concentration to support a full, traditional school model. Also, I am highly supportive of curriculum and culture that return to the essential principles of Catholic liberal education.”
