The philosophy of Maria Montessori and her model of education is one that fully supports the development of the whole person and respects the dignity of each child. It offers freedom within limits and a prepared environment in which children are introduced to materials that engage their developmental needs, paying particular attention to each child.  A Montessori approach is not standardized, but rather highly attentive to the beautiful uniqueness of each child's educational journey and formation.  Children flourish in a community of respect and gain independence and confidence through meaningful repetition of activity.
